Who is SD17

SD17 is a modern metal project created and directed by guitarist and songwriter Tim Haverman. It isn’t a traditional band — it’s a focused creative vision supported by a trusted team behind the scenes.

Tim writes all of the music and lyrics, shaping the sound and direction of each release while collaborating with carefully chosen vocalists and musicians who serve the needs of the song.

The result is heavy, melodic metal with a modern, cinematic edge — built with intention and designed to be felt.
